North Carolina Children's Book Award

The North Carolina Children's Book Award program is a children's choice program designed to introduce children to current children's literature and to instill a love of reading. The award is sponsored by the North Carolina Library Association's Youth Services Section and supported by school and public librarians across the state.

2021 Junior Book Voting

Each nominee has a link to a book trailer and activities below the book cover.  Students may vote for their favorite title if they have read at least 3 of the 10 nominees.  Check for digital copies on your local public library's website (or NC Kids digital library).
